    CICT Open Learning Centre is an open learning centre. They offer computers, numeracy, literacy, English language, life and work skills as well as access to the internet and devices. They have a wide range of courses from basic level to advanced levels. Giving learners the chance to take their first step back into learning or to progress to higher education or employment opportunities.

    They run projects to support ethnically marginalised communities and newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers with financial inclusion, health inclusion, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) and Maths.

    They deliver the RISE@Truly Home project supporting refugees into sustainable employment.

    • Building confidence and promoting proactive job-seeking behaviours among participants

    They are also a digital inclusion hub providing free internet, a data bank, a digital device bank, digital skills training and support.

    CICT Open Learning Centre is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about  Wellbeing Hubs

    Wellbeing Hub open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 1pm to 4pm.
