Fawdon Children’s Centre

Fawdon Children’s centre is a Children’s and Families hub, run by Action for Children. It includes:

  • North East Autism Hub: for parents and carers of children under the age of 7, before, during and after receiving a diagnosis of autism. The hub offers: Introduction to autism workshops, one to one appointments, drop in sessions. Contact [email protected] to book a session.

The Hub links with smaller organisations and services across their locality, including the voluntary sector organisations and schools to create a network of buildings in each locality.

Services that will be available from hubs include: health visiting, family support, community midwifery, mental health support, children’s therapies, youth provision, training opportunities, childcare and employability services.

They provide Healthy Start vitamins.
