Fenham Library and Community Hub
Fenham Library is part of the Newcastle Libraries Service.
Library services include:
- browsing and borrowing books for adults and children
- reserve and borrow books, audio books, board games and more
- free computer, internet and Wi-Fi access
- printing, photocopying and scanning facilities
- reserving books, DVDs, toys, and board games
- advice on using our BorrowBox app for eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and eNewspapers
- study space
- using the freephone to contact other council services
- Welfare rights benefits advice drop in sessions available on Mondays 12pm to 2.30pm
- book rooms for hire
The building also hosts the Men’s Pie Club.
This is a designated Safe Place for people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Lego Club – Friday 3.30pm to 4.30pm
- attend our Under 5 Storytime session – Mondays 11am to 11.30am
- borrow or order a ‘Starting School Book Bag’ – each bag has 4 books to help you talk with your child about starting school.
- Read, play, craft and make friends at Game Changers social club for 7-11 year olds – Mondays, 3.30pm (term time)

- attend a Knit and Crochet session on Fridays from 1pm to 3pm
- attend board Games & Lego for all on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm
- craft sessions are held in the school holidays on Mondays from 11am to midday
Fenham Library is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot and cold drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about Wellbeing Hubs
