International Rescue Committee (IRC) UK

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) provide free employment support across England, for refugees and asylum seekers with the right to work in the UK. They can help you to prepare for work through:

  • online and in-person workshops
  • personalized one to one support to increase your skill and boost confidence
  • Job Readiness Training to help you identify your skills, create a CV, cover letter, supporting statement and prepare for job interviews
  • Health and Social Care Employment Support for refugees who are interested in entry-level roles within the health and care sector. This is in collaboration with NHS Northeast and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) helps people affected by humanitarian crises, including the climate crisis, to survive, recover and rebuild their lives. In the UK they offer integration support to refugees. They work in over 40 crisis-affected countries, to improve healthcare, education, and empowerment, with a strong focus on addressing the inequalities faced by women and girls.
