Laing Art Gallery

The Laing Art Gallery has a permanent international collection of art. It focuses on British oil paintings, watercolours, ceramics, silver and glassware. It runs regular events such as artist and curator talks and family activities. They have a range of new exhibitions of historic, modern and contemporary art.

On the ground floor is a café offering light refreshments and a gift shop selling a homewares, prints and jewellery. The Laing has a play space for children under the age of 5.
