Merit HomeCare
Merit Home Care is a provider of home care services. They are registered with the CQC and inspected for their personal care service. You can read the full CQC report and rating below.
They provide home care services to people:
- aged 65 years and over
- who have learning disabilities and/or autism aged 18 years and over
- with mental health needs aged 18 years and over
- with physical disabilities, including sensory impairment aged 18 years and over
- aged 18 years and over with specific needs, such as, dementia, end-of-life, palliative care, and sudden onset brain injury
Care at home services include:
- bathing, dressing, hair and foot care
- preparing and eating food
- medication
- moving around your house and transfers from or to bed/chair/toilet
- helping to carry out everyday tasks independently
- household tasks to keep the home tidy, safe and clean
- help with getting out and about
- support to attend meetings, appointments, social activities
- shopping
- dealing with correspondence
- companionship
Merit Home Care are commissioned by Newcastle City Council to provide home care services for adults.
