Skills for Care

Skills for Care help adult social care organisations and individual employers to recruit, train, lead their staff and retain them. They’re the membership organisation for registered managers.  They provide practical tools, support and useful information such as:

• standards for the Care Certificate
• guidance on the CQC ratings
• accredited providers of social care training

The Care Certificate includes education and information on:

• lone workers
• services for people living with dementia
• services for people with a learning disability
• services for people with mental health conditions
• supporting autistic people
• supporting people at the end of their life
