British Red Cross

British Red Cross is a charity that offers:

first aid training
carers support through the Newcastle Emergency Carers Card
hospital transport
short term hire of mobility aids, wheelchairs and equipment. There’s a small charge for this service
support for refugees with case work, family reunion support and family tracing [email protected]
short term cash payments for destitute or refused asylum seekers
emergency support to people across the world after a disaster or humanitarian crisis

They also have venue space for up to 50 people available for hire at their Newcastle office. Audio-visual equipment is available and catering can be provided on request. The building and toilets are wheelchair accessible and on-site parking is available.
