Relay UK is the emergency text (SMS) message service for deaf, hard of hearing and speech-impaired people in the UK. You can contact the police, ambulance, fire rescue, or coastguard by text message.
When using the app you ask for help in English and the emergency services can reply to you. You can also use Relay UK with Textphone.
To use this service you need to download the app to your mobile phone and register your mobile number. It’s available for all devices on all mobile phone networks. Follow the instructions on their website on how to register.
