Nunsmoor Centre

The Nunsmoor Centre is a community family hub run by the Nunsmoor Centre Trust. They run activities such as:

  • Early Help Family Support for families with children in need of additional support including anti-social behaviour, school attendance and emotional wellbeing.
  • North East Autism Hub for parents and carers of children under the age of 7, before, during and after receiving a diagnosis of autism – book a session by sending an email to [email protected].
  • Welfare Rights drop in sessions available on Tuesdays 9.30am to 12pm
  • Family Cook, Play and Learn on Mondays,
  • Little Minds in Mind on Wednesdays.
  • Parent and Toddler Group & Toy Library on Thursdays.
  • Al Ihsan Mother, Baby and Toddler Group on Fridays.
  • Young Parent Group on Tuesdays.
  • Baby Clinics – appointment only through a health visitor or by calling 0191 2823319.
  • Career Advice – book by emailing [email protected].
  • Sensory Room – book an hourly session by calling 0191 277 4400.

The Nunsmoor Centre Trust manages the Access Fund or grant on behalf of Newcastle City Council for children with additional needs and disabilities.
