Streetwise Young People’s Project – Everyturn Mental Health

Streetwise is now part of EveryTurn Mental Health  and supports  young people aged 11 to 25 years to access free information, advice, counselling, support, community activities and youth voice. Services are confidential, accessible, welcoming and respectful to young people current services include:

  • Weekly information, advice and guidance Youth Hub drop-ins
  • Face to face and online counselling and mental health services
  • National C-card scheme (free condoms)
  • Groupwork – Calm Minds, DV, Anger, Personal Wellbeing, Misogyny, Exam Stress, Healthy Relationships etc.
  • Youth Work: including Social Action Projects and Volunteering Opportunities.
  • Young Volunteers

Streetwise operates several Early Help Youth Hubs, in various School and Community Settings across Newcastle.

They’re a safe, warm and welcoming spaces to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about  Wellbeing Hubs

Wellbeing hubs open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1pm to 6:30pm

Streetwise is commissioned by Newcastle City Council to offer a weekly Community Based Youth Hubs, supporting young people aged 13 – 16 years.
