ABF The Soldiers Charity, is the National Charity of the British Army, offering a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families when in need.

Armed Forces Outreach Service (AFOS) is a partnership between local authorities and housing associations in the North East providing a service to the Armed Forces Community.
They offer SSAFA ( Soldiers’, Sailors’, and Airmen’s Families Association) trained staff to help people from the Armed Forces find a home and settle into the community,

run by local volunteers and a trained mental health team. No appointment needed to access mental health information, support, advice, and education.
