Get Online Newcastle is a partnership between Newcastle City Council and Your Homes Newcastle. They support people living in Newcastle to get online and equip them with valuable digital skills. Their courses include:
- Online Basics teaches you how to access and use the internet, send and receive emails and how to attach a CV or photo to an email, it’s a 2 part course.
- Intro to Office (may lead to a City & Guilds qualification) includes Microsoft Office packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It’s a 4 part course.
- Techy tea parties – take along your own device; laptop, smart phone, tablet or iPad – and find out how to complete your basic settings, secure your device and download and navigate apps.
