St Martin’s Centre
St. Martin’s is a modern community facility offering lots of different activities and projects for the local community including:
- Fun activities for all adults, including line dancing, a weekly craft group, and art classes
- Over-55-year-olds’ social groups
- Exercise classes, including Tai Chi, Zumba Gold, Chi Me, Fit & Fab (chair-based exercise)
- Parent, baby and children’s activities
- A children’s nursery
- The Avenue Coffee Shop, open 9.00am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
- Dementia-friendly Memory Tea
- Good Neighbours Partner organisation with Volunteering Matters, providing support to isolated individuals
- Volunteering opportunities
- Church services and activities
- Rooms available for hire
St Martin’s is a Children & Families Hub where you can take part in free activities for babies, children and young people. You can get information and support.
St Martin’s Centre is a Wellbeing Hub. They’re a warm welcoming place to spend time in Newcastle. They offer a range of support such as hot drinks, free Wi-Fi, place to charge your devices, information, advice and more. Read more about Wellbeing Hubs
