Changing Lives
During the coronavirus – supporting the homeless shower and breakfast at Crisis
Changing Lives supports people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, addictions or long-term unemployment. They provide specialist women’s and family services. Their services include:
- drop in for rough sleepers in Newcastle at Crisis Skylight with free food, washing machines, showers, health and housing appointments
- drug and alcohol recovery services
- supported accommodation to help you get back on your feet quicker
- specialist accommodation for veterans, young people, women in recovery with their children and for people escaping domestic violence or modern day slavery
- employment support for over 18s to access free training and support
- charity shops
- an affordable furniture warehouse
- a food redistribution service
- volunteering opportunities
- Fulfilling Lives supporting people with multiple and complex needs
Changing Lives is commissioned by Newcastle City Council to deliver:
- crisis response and homelessness and prevention services
- sexual health services
- drugs and alcohol services
