Changing Lives

During the coronavirus – supporting the homeless shower and breakfast at Crisis

Changing Lives supports people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, addictions or long-term unemployment. They provide specialist women’s and family services. Their services include:

  • drop in for rough sleepers in Newcastle at Crisis Skylight with free food, washing machines, showers, health and housing appointments
  • drug and alcohol recovery services
  • supported accommodation to help you get back on your feet quicker
  • specialist accommodation for veterans, young people, women in recovery with  their children and for people escaping domestic violence or modern day slavery
  • employment support for over 18s to access free training and support
  • charity shops
  • an affordable furniture warehouse
  • a food redistribution service
  • volunteering opportunities
  • Fulfilling Lives supporting people with multiple and complex needs

Changing Lives is commissioned by Newcastle City Council  to deliver:

  • crisis response and homelessness and prevention services
  • sexual health services
  • drugs and alcohol services
