Newcastle West End Foodbank
During the coronavirus outbreak:
- You must have a food voucher.
- Updates are posted on the foodbanks page. There are voucher collection points at St James church in Benwell, Lemington Centre and Lemington Methodist church on different days/times.
- Food parcels are distributed at the Church of the Venerable Bede, the Centre itself, Lemington Centre and Lemington Methodist church on different days/times of the week.
Newcastle West End Foodbank has two centres where you can get food if you are in a crisis. You will need to be referred to the Foodbank by one of their partner’s such as Citizens Advice Newcastle, your health visitor or GP. These partner agencies can work with you to manage your crisis.
When you are referred, you will be given a voucher. You can take the voucher to your nearest Foodbank centre and exchange it for up to 3 days’ emergency food.
