Action Foundation supports refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants with housing, English, information and help to get online

free English language lessons (ESOL) in Newcastle and Sunderland. Online Zoom classes and lessons in classrooms are available.

The Angelou Centre offers ‘women only’ support and activities for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women.

Support people during the asylum process. They support the ‘move on’ process if you are granted refugee status. They offer advice and signposting if you receive a negative decision on your asylum claim.

They educate and empower women and wider community by promoting diversity, equality and justice for all.

The Chinese Centre North of England also known as CICT open learning centre offers free courses in computers, numeracy, literacy, English language, life and work skills.
