is a group of organisations who make sure adults with care and support needs are safe from abuse and neglect.

Newcastle Women’s Aid provides advice, help and support to women and children who are experiencing, or affected by, domestic violence and abuse.

Northumbria Police has online reporting and chat as well as a non-emergency helpline.

Neighbourhood Watch is a crime prevention voluntary movement in the UK.

Supports families, carers and friends in affected by drug and alcohol use.

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) is a charity that provides sexual violence services to women and girls over the age of 13 who live, work or study in Tyneside and Northumberland.

National domestic abuse helpline.

Respect helps people who use violence or abuse in their relationships to change their behaviour. They have a free telephone helpline, web chat and email service where you can get advice and support. They have a range of online information to help you to change.

They also have information for victims of abuse and for professionals

The Respond help is available to anyone with a learning disability or autism, or their friends and family, who have experienced or been affected by institutional abuse. They offer psychotherapy support.

Safe Newcastle is the Community Safety Partnership for Newcastle upon Tyne.
