Working Together is Adult Social Care and Prevention’s co‑production and public engagement service. Supporting residents, carers, community groups and partners to get involved in shaping adult social care and prevention services across the city.

The City Information Hub and Library offer library services, events and activities, computer access and more.

Newcastle city library and community hub has a Changing Place accessible toilet. These toilets have equipment is to help you to get on and off the toilet, or to change your continence pad. Such as a hoist, a height-adjustable changing bench and a shower. These toilets have more space so your carer or carers can help you if needed. There is a changing area with screens or curtains to give you some privacy .Visit  to see Visit the Changing Places website the opening times and how access them. You can only access the toilets when the buildings are open. You may need a Radar Key to open the toilet.

North East Drive Mobility is a service that helps people to retain or regain independence as drivers and passengers. North East Drive Mobility provides independent assessment and advice to people with a medical condition, or disability, which may affect their ability to drive, or use a vehicle as a passenger.

Scope provide information and support to disabled people, families and carers. They have a free disability telephone helpline. They can answer questions and talk you through a wide range of topics connected with disability. They can help you to get involved and be active in your community with their community engagement and research panels

SignLive provides online video British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting services for Deaf and hard of hearing people. You can make calls in BSL to hundreds of organisations using their community directory. They provide interpreting services for NHS 111
