Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTaR) Drug and Alcohol Service is a community drug and alcohol service for anyone in Newcastle experiencing problems with or affected by drugs and alcohol. Support is available for people of all ages and with all substances.

The Physical Health and Medication Management Team (PHMM) covers Gateshead and East and West Newcastle. The team provide long term condition management and a specific bridging service for people over 18 and under 65 years who have been discharged to their GP.

The Physical Treatment Centre provides Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT); depot clinics and clozapine monitoring; phlebotomy and ECG as well as complementary therapies for people over 18 and under 65 years.

The Patient Information Centre has a range of mental health guides and other health related information.

Supports families, carers and friends in affected by drug and alcohol use.

ReCoCo run a variety of creative, educational and support-based classes. All courses are free and open to anyone who would find them helpful in their recovery from mental illness, substance misuse, trauma or distress, or to anyone who might find them beneficial to their wellbeing.
