List of learning disability support services commissioned by Newcastle City Council
These services are available to you if you have eligible care and support needs. This is decided when you have a needs assessment with Adult Social Care at Newcastle City Council. Care and support can be arranged by the Council.
These organisations are commissioned, which means they have a contract with Newcastle City Council to provide this service. The organisation must meet standards set by the council, such as trained staff who have specific qualifications, care and support planning and quality processes which include gathering feedback from you. These organisations are registered with and are inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
