Dementia Friendly Newcastle is a project that brings people living with dementia and their carers together with community partners to improve wellbeing, take part in activities and increase knowledge of local support available.

Dementia Friendly Newcastle is a project by Arts Development Team and Adult Social Care at Newcastle City Council working in partnership with Alzheimers Society Newcastle, Equal Arts, EveryTurn Mental Health, Jesmond Library, KeyRing, NHS Newcastle Talking Therapies, Newcastle Carers, Newcastle Libraries, Scotswood Garden, Search Newcastle, Silverline Memories, St Anthony’s of Padua, St Martins centre, St Oswalds, St. Vincent’s Centre, The Grange Centre, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums.
